On the 20th of last June, 2008, the new Caleffi Research Centre was presented to the Italian technical press.- Innovation means growth, both in terms of production and business practice. This is the perspective behind the conception of CuboRosso – or the RedCube , the scarlet heart where products and systems for renewable energy plants are developed and realised.
- Alternative energy sources are a vital matter both in terms of social responsibility and expanding market opportunity, and for this reason Caleffi has decided to dedicate its New Research Centre to the development of components for thermal and photovoltaic solar plants, exploiting the energy produced for (among other things) providing electricity for its Italian headquarters.
- The Centre’s activities include carrying out studies for improving existing ‘traditional’ products and testing standard components according to energy saving criteria.
